Medical care
Medical detransition care in the Netherlands is delivered through regular endocrinology, gynaecology, urology and plastic surgery. Dedicated detransition clinics do not yet exist; expertise is concentrated with doctors who also provide transgender care, including Amsterdam UMC.
Psychological care
For psychological guidance with detransition, people can turn to regular psychologists or via referral to specialist mental health services. There is growing attention for specific training in detransition issues.
Social
Social aspects — explaining to one's environment, legal consequences, possibly reversing legal sex registration — require attention. Peer contact through Transspijt.nl and international networks offers recognition.
