Transgender Europe (TGEU) is a European non-profit and umbrella organisation focused on the rights of transgender, non-binary and intersex people in Europe and Central Asia. Its office is in Berlin.

Trans Rights Map

TGEU publishes an annual Trans Rights Map that scores the legal status of transgender people in 49 European countries on matters including change of sex registration, asylum, protection against discrimination and hate crime legislation.

Trans Murder Monitoring

Since 2008, TGEU together with international partners has run the Trans Murder Monitoring, documenting reported murders of transgender people worldwide. The annual update appears around 20 November (Transgender Day of Remembrance).
